Tried boneheads for takeout because there is no Dine-in available they appear to be remodeling. Ordering was super easy. The order was not ready yet when we showed up. They had us pay for the order and then brought it out to us , while we waited in the car. We tried the sampler: the Mac and cheese bites were incredible. Stuffed Mushrooms were the BEST I have ever had! Mozzarella bites were delicious- Stuffed hot pepper real chess's and excellent kick. We had the med Hot Buffalo wings- super flavorful not just spicy hot. Very good kick! I love and can handle super spicy food, (my bleeding ulcer would disagree but I digress) I could handle the next heat level up which is Too Hot for Teacher. The garlic Parmesan rub was really good, not too garlicky or super greasy . Also none of there foods I felt were super greasy . Also these wings tastes fanfrickingtastic the next day. Looking for Great Wings , Come HERE!
Came in on a Wednesday to try the Wing Tour which is a special where you can get 25 wings with 5 different sauces. ($26) We had to wait to be seated about 5-8 minutes, the tour is really popular. We were ushered to a booth and began reviewing the sauce/ rub list. We ordered 2 tours, one all gluten free and 1 mix. A quick run down of the sauces GF Sweet home Alabama- a nice BBQ sauce, no heat but very tasty Cowboys from hell- BBQ and Hot mix, very good and a nice kick Rock Lobster- a sauce made in Mozambique style, very good and a little heat Breakfast at Tiffany's- sweet with maple, was good but not my thing Sweet child o mine- Thai chili sauce, sweet and yummy Not GF One Bourbon, one Scotch one beer- very tasty and sweet with no heat Salt and vinegar rub- very good just like the chips Garlic Parmesan- rub- just like it says Beer can- rub- very good and unique Honey Sriracha- very good mix of sweet and hot Wings were all bone in and cooked perfectly. A side of fries and some carrots and celery rounded out the meal. Service was good and overall a great time
Went here on a Friday night, sat at the bar in the band room. First off, I agree with some other reviews about the parking: it's just a narrow, cobblestone alleyway that should really be a one way, luckily we were able to find a spot at the end. Service: the bartender we had was great and very friendly. She was attentive when we had empty beer glasses, which is always appreciated, and was helpful with the menu Food: Docking a point for the fried pickles. They had a fantastic crispy, non-greasy exterior, but unfortunately were just CRAZY salty. Outside of that wings were fantastic. I've never been to a place with such a selection. My bf got the eye of the tiger which was very spicy but had great flavor. I tried melt with you (love Mac n cheese everything but found this didn't really shmeld with fried chicken), buffalo soldier (solid buffalo sauce dip), wrong side of the road (this won an award but I wasn't a huge fan, had a strange aftertaste) and breakfast at Tiffany's (also won an award and was EXCELLENT! tasted like a buttery pancake breakfast with bacon on the side). Seems like a great weekend spot, especially with live music/karaoke on the weened. Would return!
Best wings ever! Holy moly, I am freaking addicted to this place! I like this location better than the one in West Warwick. The menu is pretty much the same, but the sauces just seem to be more consistent & better tasting. They have live music some days. Haven't been for that yet. I usually come on a Wednesday or a Thursday for the wing flights...so worth it - 25 wings/5 flavors on a tray of happiness...yum! We'll sometimes get the Twisted Sister nachos too...I love those. All of their wing sauces are named after songs...think "Sweet Child O' Mine", or "Mr. Roboto." I am overly amused by this. Oh...they do serve other food too, burgers & such. But honestly, I only get the wings because I just can't bring myself to have anything else. You'll see the owner there a lot too, which I love. When a business' owner is present, things are just better. Sometimes, there's a long wait...but it's worth it. And, they won't take a reservation unless your party is 7 or more. The only really bad thing here is the parking. It can't be rough. Sometimes, we'll circle the block several times before a spot opens up. There's a nice gated lot right next to the place, but it doesn't belong to Boneheads & you can't park there. I have seen peoples cars get locked in...no bueno. Anywho, in case it isn't obvious, I'll be back!
This is a fun restaurant for those of us who are fans of the 90s and in particular grunge music. Awesome videos were on the tv screens and all of the menu items are names of songs. I will say it's pretty dark in there but that just goes with the general vibe of the place. The menu is huge. A bit overwhelming. We knew in advance they had funky flavors so we were prepared and had a good idea what we'd like to try. They have some interesting drinks too although hopefully they can update the menu as the top winter drinks looked great but were no longer served. For drinks, we went with a peach sangria and a watermelon beer. Both fantastic. Next order was a blueberry beer (yup, with blueberries) and a very strange cocktail that I had to try but wouldn't order again - Black Hole Sun which contained Pepsi, Guinness, whipped cream vodka and root beer schnapps. I switched and drank the blueberry beer as this was just too weird for me. For wings, we got the peanut butter and jelly boneless (omg so good), cherry pie (tasted more like soy sauce to me) and mac n cheese (very strong and fun flavor). We also got a side of cheesy fries which were very good. Obviously, we took a lot of the wings home and they tasted just as good the next day. Prices were great and you can't beat trying new and crazy wing flavors. We're definitely going to be back!
